The West Michigan SPCA is a TAOS (The Association of Sanctuaries) accredited sanctuary that provides a permanent home for 50 wolf dogs. We are 1 of the 45 TAOS accredited sanctuaries in the United States. Michigan State Law now severely restricts ownership of wolf-dogs crosses. If in the case a wolf-dog owner can not meet these restrictions the only two options are to have there pet euthanized or bring them to a sanctuary such as ours. All wolf-dogs at the sanctuary are spayed or neutered, and are well sheltered in spacious and secure areas. The SPCA does not breed or sell wolf dogs.

It has been a long and hard road to provide a sanctuary for our wolf dogs, with local government officials battling us most of the way. But we are determined to save these wonderful animals from destruction.
