The West Michigan SPCA rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife for release back into the wild. Our patients have included fox, coyotes, squirrels, raccoons, woodchucks, skunks, whitetail deer, porcupine, possums, and birds. On any given day, you may find a fox in the spare bedroom, a squirrel in the office sleeping in a cage with an itty bitty kitty, a skunk in the rehab room or a raccoon nursing on a mother cat in the middle of a litter of kittens.

It has been a long and hard road to provide a sanctuary for our wolf dogs, with local government officials battling us most of the way. But we are determined to save these wonderful animals from destruction.
